There is no alternative to diet and exercise when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle and losing weight. Yet, it can be hard to lose stubborn fat from many parts of the body, despite all the good work. If you think you can get a more sculpted body with some extra help, cooltone is for you. CoolTone, for the unversed, is a non-invasive procedure that has been approved by the FDA and can help improve muscle tone. It comes from Allergen – the company that’s also known for Coolsculpting. In this post, we are discussing all you must know about CoolTone.

    What is CoolTone?

CoolTone is an outpatient procedure, and while the name may sound like Coolsculpting, both are different procedures. It is done to achieve more muscle definition. The treatment relies on something known as “magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS).” The aesthetic surgeon or technician will use the device to deliver electromagnetic energy to targeted muscles of your body, which will trigger contractions. Your body will naturally start strengthening the muscles in those areas, and with time, you will find that your muscles feel firmer, stronger, and toned. CoolTone works best on thighs, buttocks, and abdominal muscles.

    Coolsculpting vs. CoolTone

As we mentioned, Coolsculpting and CoolTone are different. Coolsculpting focuses on freezing fat cells from different targeted body parts and remains one of the best non-invasive ways to get rid of stubborn fat. Coolsculpting uses extreme cold to achieve that, and once the fat cells are killed, the body naturally removes those fat cells.

CoolTone, on the contrary, relies on electromagnetic energy. Depending on what you want to achieve, your cosmetic surgeon may recommend both CoolTone and CoolSculpting, especially for your abs. Together, these procedures help you lose fat and build muscles.

    Other things to know

Much like CoolSculpting, you will need at least a few sessions of CoolTone to see desired results. Most patients need at least four treatments, which can be spaced in two weeks, and you can expect to see a considerable difference in your core strength after the first session. CoolTone is considered a safe procedure, and there are minor side effects like redness, muscular pain, and temporary muscle spasms, which should subside soon.

One session of CoolTone can last for 30 minutes, and you can return to your regular routine in no time. Talk to a reliable aesthetic clinic to know more about the pros and cons.
